Transfer photos with a USB cable
Step 1: First you’ll need to connect your iPhone to a computer using a USB cable. Then your iPhone will display a notice whether or not you allow photo data access from the iPhone, select Allow to continue
Step 2: Next, open My computer on your computer. You’ll see Apple iPhone appears as so:
Step 3: In Apple iPhone folder will appear this one single folder, open it up
Step 4: Click DCIM
Step 5: Select 100APPLE
Step 6: You’ll see a list of photos on your iPhone, select photos you want to import to the computer, then right-click and select Copy
Step 7: Choose a folder to save the photos then right-click and select Paste to finish the copy process
Transfer photos to a MacOS using a USB cable
Step 1: Connect your iPhone to a computer using a Lightning cable. This time, MacOS computer will automatically detect and open photos viewer window
Step 2: To import photos, select Import All News to import to the computer
Step 3: Once done, select Last Import to check the location contains imported photos
Transfer photos using software without a USB cable
Transfer photos to a MacOS computer using AirDrop
This method is only applied to Apple products such as iMac, iMac Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and MacBook
Step 1: Make sure Wifi and Airdrop are enabled on both devices
Step 2: On the MacOS computer, select Finder>Airdrop>Allow me to be discovered by to allow access
Step 3: On your iPhone go to Settings>General>Airdrop. Make sure to select Everyone
Step 4: On your iPhone, select the photos you want to transfer>select Share (the rectangular icon having an upward arrow)>select Airdrop and click your computer’s name to start sharing photos
