Bluetooth is an indispensable function for laptops and connecting laptop to bluetooth headphones, speakers is primarily easy as well as on smartphones. Please read this post for more suggestions
On Windows 7
- Step 1: Enable Bluetooth and place the device within the connectable distance, which will be stated on the package or manual by manufacturer, usually up to 10 meters
- Step 2: Select Start Menu>Device and Printers
- Step 3: Click the name and the speaker icon
Select Next to proceed connecting laptop to Bluetooth speaker
On Windows 10
- Step 1: Enable Bluetooth on the speaker and place it within the connectable distance
- Step 2: Select the Start icon at the left corner of the screen then select Settings
- Step 3: Select Devices
- Step 4: At “Bluetooth & other devices”, activate Bluetooth function
- Step 5: Select “Add Bluetooth & other devices”
- Step 6: Select Bluetooth
- Step 7: Select the speaker name then select Connect to connect
On Mac OS
- Step 1: Enable Bluetooth on the speaker and place it within the connectable distance
- Step 2: Select the System Preferences icon on the Dock bar
- Step 3: At System Preferences window, select the Bluetooth icon
- Step 4: Select “Turn Bluetooth on” to enable bluetooth connection
- Step 5: Select a speaker name then select Connect to connect
Note:
- Later on, you just need to turn on Bluetooth on the speaker and laptop within suitable distance to automatically connect, no need to reconnect from the beginning
- In addition to connecting by Bluetooth, most of the speaker devices now support 3.5 mm jack connection for a stable connection.
- If your laptop is not equipped with Bluetooth 5, you can only connect to 1 speaker at a time.
