BOOT and BIOS menu are properly familiar with a lot of computer nerds. So how to access the BOOT and BIOS menu using shortcuts key? . Let’s find out!
What is the BOOT and BIOS menu? What are their benefits?
BOOT menu (Start menu) is a feature built into the laptop helping users control the process of starting the device. By default, the computer will be started from the hard drive containing the operation. However. in some cases (Windows reset, data rescue, ect.) users will need to go to BOOT menu and move BOOT into a USB, external hard drive or even a DVD
For example, I have a USB Boot which is used for installing Windows, when connecting to the computer, the system cannot recognize it as a USB to install Windows. So we need to use BOOT menu and switch the BOOT state (Boot) from the hard drive to a USB so the computer can receive Windows installer in this USB
BIOS stands for Basic Input/Output System, which is a group of commands stored on a firmware chip located on the computer’s motherboard. BIOS helps controlling basic features such as: Connect and run drivers for external devices (mouse, keyboard, ect.), start the operations, display signals on the screen
In conclusion, BIOS works like an alarm waking up and registering (check) the hardware part of the computer and laptop when users press the Power button to start the device. After finishing, BIOS will transfer the control permission of the entire system to the operation
